Important: The doorbell wires must come through the bottom of the wall plate hole (as pictured).Use a bubble level to check that the wall plate is straight. Use the wall plate to mark holes to drill for the cable and the screws.If you don’t have a doorbell, install your doorbell about 4 ft (1.2 m) high, where most doorbells are located.
